Art Basel Doha is officially Art Basel Qatar, marking Art Basel’s first fair in the Middle East, built through a long term partnership involving Art Basel and leading Qatari organizations including Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) and QC+.
The inaugural edition is scheduled for February 2026, with fair dates listed as February 5 to 7, alongside additional preview programming earlier that week.
Rather than a massive booth hall, it is positioned as a more focused, curated format designed to highlight the artistic diversity of the region while connecting it to Art Basel’s global network of galleries, collectors, and institutions.
Art Basel has announced a strong international lineup for the first edition, including 87 galleries from 31 countries and territories, making Doha a major new stop on the global art calendar.
